Community Participation
Why is community participation important?
Community participation is important for everyone, including people with and without disabilities, as it fosters a sense of belonging and mutual respect.
When people from diverse backgrounds engage in community activities together, they can learn from each other and break down barriers. Ultimately, this inclusivity leads to stronger communities where everyone’s contributions are valued and celebrated.

Community Participation
Social and community participation is about meeting people with similar interest and joining in social and community activities.
Life is always better when you are sharing experiences with others.
Being part of your community is an important aspect of life, and building connections even more so. If you need a hand to make that happen, we’re here for you.
We want you to genuinely enjoy being an active part of your community.

Travel/Transport Assistance
Wings of Support care services offer support for travelling to NDIS participants.
If you are unable to utilise public transportation due to your disability, you can use the NDIS to fund transport modifications, or travel assistance.
We can also help you develop the skills to use public transportation if that is something you would like to do.
